About

Welcome! Hi, my name is Kyra, and this is my blog, Honeymine. A little about me: I’m currently a sophomore in college, pursuing a combination of hospitality, entrepreneurship, and food studies at New York University (NYU). I began my academic journey studying Nutrition and Dietetics at Rutgers University, where I developed a deep interest in how food impacts our health and well-being.

Baking has been a part of my life since I was a little girl, learning from my grandmother, who not only taught me the joy of baking but also called me “honeymine,” a term of endearment that inspired the name of this blog. What started as a simple hobby quickly grew into my passion.

On this blog, I’ll be sharing a variety of content, from delicious recipes and practical tips to food recommendations and the fascinating science behind what we bake and eat. I’ll explore everything from the technical aspects of cooking and baking to the history behind our favorite desserts. Whether you’re looking for new recipes to try or curious about the science of your food, I hope you’ll find something here that sparks your curiosity—and that you learn something new along the way!
